Hello!
Meg O’Sullivan, Clinical Psychologist at Bay Psychological Services. A woman with long red hair wearing a red sweater, standing in front of a gray horizontal siding wall.

Meg O’Sullivan

Meg is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board. Originally from Ireland, she has experience working with adolescents and adults across a range of mental health settings, including with people experiencing complex and overlapping psychological and neurodevelopmental needs.

Meg has a particular interest in ADHD and autism assessment and takes a thoughtful, whole-person approach to understanding each individual. She looks beyond symptoms and questionnaire scores, considering a person’s development, life experiences, strengths and challenges to build a clearer picture of what may be going on.

Meg values creating a calm, collaborative and respectful assessment experience, where people feel heard and understood. Her goal is for clients to leave the process with not only greater clarity, but a meaningful understanding of themselves and practical guidance for moving forward.

Nice to meet you!

Our Story

Bay Psychology Services grew from a shared interest in helping people better understand themselves and their experiences.

Through our clinical work, we saw how meaningful it can be when someone finally has an explanation for things they may have been navigating for years. We also recognised that a diagnosis is only one part of the picture — the process of getting there, understanding what it means, and knowing what to do with that information matters too.

We created Bay Psychology Services to offer a different kind of experience: one that is comprehensive and evidence-based, but also warm, thoughtful and genuinely individual. We want people to feel listened to throughout the process and to come away with more than a diagnostic label — with greater clarity, self-understanding and practical guidance that can make a difference in everyday life.

As our service has grown, so has our focus. Alongside adult assessment, we now support adolescents and offer short-term psychological support to help people make sense of life following an ADHD or autism diagnosis.
